Surprise

It's a dot com now. Nothing new there, but it'll get cooler and cooler as the days go by. I've got time off during the break. Any ideas for a useful website? Haven't written any interesting PHP in a while ...

Oh, Merry Christmas too.

Doesn't it seem impossible to think about how those crazy programmers make those programs that can represent points in 3D space on a 2D computer screen? I mean, there must be crazy vector multiplication and God only knows what. How can you possibly hold all that stuff in your head and comprehend it? It's impossible!

Wait!

Hold on a second .. if you think about it in the right way .. well then it doesn't seem too difficult. In fact, it's easy enough for someone who's never written a 3D engine to write their own in a few hours while experiemnting through trial and error. That doesn't sound too hard.

The 3D Engine

Or here if it doesn't work for some reason.

Updated the game. You yelled that he went too slow, so now he can run if you hold "s". Look at it and tell me if it looks right.

Feedback or die.

So I redesigned the site for Max and I's videogame and uploaded the newest version. If you're interested in looking at it, you can find it here. The URL is long because I haven't gotten around to making another site point to it. That would make the link easier to remember. I haven't gotten around to doing a lot of things with it. A lot of the new features aren't there yet. Ahh well.

If you visit and decide to critique it, please PLEASE use Firefox. I haven't gotten around to testing it and repairing it for Internet Explorer (or anything else for that matter). If you don't have Firefox, this is the perfect time for you to get it, even if you weren't planning on visiting my site. If you're using Internet Explorer, you might as well take a sledge hammer to your hard drive. Protect yourself and your computer, download firefox.

This here, my friends, is hard-core ActionScript coding. It's the backbone of the newly renamed Java Crystal RPG Max and I are working on. As of right now, it's pretty awesome. I could probably refine more now that I have an even firmer grasp on what's going on, but it's not really necessary. We just need to get going on the next parts of the game. Now that this is out of the way, levels should go by faster and faster.

The game lives.
